Two and a half years later, the aftermath of the Bahraini Uprising continues to affect the small island nation. The majority Shia population has united in strength and numbers for democracy and political freedom, against the continuous oppression and censorship from the ruling government. The political graffiti seen in Bahrain addresses human rights and freedom of speech issues; to confront the government's attempt to paint a different picture to the western world.
